What do they need to wear?

Long sleeves and either trousers or shorts that come below the knee, even in summer. It’s also a good idea to bring gloves and one pair of long socks.

What do they need to bring?

Pack a lunch for them and stick a change of clothes in case it rains. We also recommend a pair of trainers for tubing.

Is equipment included?

Yes, your child will be provided with boots, skis and a helmet.

I have a child of a different age/school. Can they come?

Our sponsored spaces are only available for P7’s in the Loudoun cluster. Other places are available for ages 7+ and cost £30 for the day. You must book paid spaces by calling 01560 322320.

My child has never skied before. Is it suitable for them?

Absolutely! Don’t worry, we’ll show them the ropes.

’ve booked but I’m no longer able to make that date. What do I do?

This is a project funded by Newilns Snow & Sports Complex and YouthLink. If you need to cancel, please do so more than 48 hours ahead so someone else can take advantage of this opportunity. If you cancel less than 48 hours, you won’t be offered another date.

I can’t make these dates. What do I do?

My child has additional support needs. How will these be met?

We want everyone to enjoy our facilities, so please let us know about any additional support needs your child has and we’ll do our best to make provisions.

Why is this only available for P7’s?

We understand that kids of all ages have missed out this past year, but this project is for P7’s who’ve missed out on their leavers’ trips. We have future projects for other kids coming soon.
